The REC association was founded in 2012 at the behest of 4 young graduates of a film school and one of their teachers who wanted to give continuity to the group work built during the three years of training together.
The REC association is also a production house geared towards producing audio- visual projects of a social nature and / or supporting youngTicino and Swiss cinema. It is registered in the commercial register and in Suissimage, a member of AFAT: theTicinese Film Audiovisual Association, collaborates with the Ticino Film Commission and with dozens of organizations, companies, institutions and associations in the area.
REC has among its objectives also training in the audiovisual field at the level of introduction to language, organizing workshops for children and young people, up to continuous training, organizing courses and professional updat- ing workshops.
The REC group has grown over the years by forging partnerships with many young technicians and artists, offering them opportunities for work, expres- sion, comparison and becoming a meeting point and reference point for those who work in the audiovisual world. In 2014, the starting quintet was joined by Ricardo Torres, a Colombian-born director who has lived in Switzerland for years.
